As I am currently attending the Marathon, it's been extremely useful to have a general overview of the topics that I am going to study in the future and a nice comprehensive summary of what I have already studied. Having a sort of guide in my mind, really helps me to navigate through the Marathon with a clear path, knowing which topics will be more relevant for the future. Furthermore, I really enjoyed the theory lessons: the level of mathematical detail was just right, and allowed me to follow the main ideas without getting lost in proof/notation. ...Items that I liked most about the course include: addressing both the mathematical theoretical foundations as well as demonstration of practical applications, no surprise-Atillio's thoughtfulness and expertise. In addition, Atillio's passion for the subject matter, which I share, and which led me to attend every single session (in August and in Boston where we have short summers!!) I also liked the casting of details of various "classic" quant concepts and assumptions (e.g. FLAM, MV) into richer, more general settings and framing.Angela was top notch. The combination of her domain knowledge, ability to keep applications tightly tied to the lessons, and steady pacing to cover a lot of material all within time budget, made the case studies a highlight. Speakers were great. The whole ARPM team clearly did a great job because everything ran so smoothly...

The guest speakers were excellent and I really enjoyed the range of topics, particularly the amount of speakers on climate / ESG. Attilio is truly a master at this craft and his ability to "bring down" the level of math and articulate the intuition behind it is truly unrivaled. I also really liked the case studies with Angela and she helped clarify (more than once) points that I didn't quite grasp during the theory session...
